About the church
Enköpings-Näs kyrka is a church building in Enköpings-Näs in the Diocese of Uppsala. It is the parish church of Tillinge and Södra Åsunda parish. The church lies on a large peninsula in Lake Mälaren about 10 kilometres south of Enköping. In the district there are several large estates of medieval origin. The church has been richly favoured by the nobility of the surrounding farms. Some of the well-known noble families that resided here are Sparre, Oxenstierna and de Geer.
