The registration form for parishes

When a parish registers a church, we store the name, email address, phone number if given, role, parish and whatever is written in the message. We use the information only to handle the registration, publish links to virtual tours and contact the parish about the registration. If the box for news is ticked, we send news a few times a year.

The forms are sent via the Web3Forms service, which forwards them to our email. The information is kept for as long as it is needed, but no longer than two years after the most recent contact. You can ask us at any time to show, correct or delete your information.

The tip form

When you report an error, we store what you write, which church it concerns and your email address if you give it. We use the information only to correct the site and, if you have left an email address, to ask you about your tip. Tips are stored in the same way as registrations.

Cookies and statistics

Svenskakyrkor.se sets no cookies of its own and uses no tracking or advertising.

To know how many people visit the site and which pages are read, we use Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies, stores no IP addresses and does not follow you between sites. We only see aggregated figures.

The virtual tours on the church pages are loaded from other providers, for example Google Maps, Queen Media, Kuula, WalkInto, Tourmkr and Matterport. A tour is only loaded when you click Show the tour. The provider may then set its own cookies, and by clicking you accept this. Nothing is loaded from the provider before you click. The map background from OpenStreetMap and the images from Wikimedia Commons are loaded directly from them, and they may then register your IP address. See each provider’s terms for more information.

Your rights

You have the right to know what information we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, and to object to how we use it. You can also complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY).
