Altuna kyrka

Altuna kyrka is currently closed for renovation. The church was built in 1850 in the neoclassical style with elements of neo-Gothic. It consists of a single-aisle nave with a church tower and main entrance in the west. The church tower is crowned by a lantern with a gilded cross. On the eastern side of the nave is the chancel, and east of the chancel is a semicircular sacristy.

About the church
Altuna kyrka belongs to Fjärdhundra parish in the Diocese of Uppsala and, until the parish merger in 2006, was the parish church of Altuna parish. The church is in the countryside about 20 kilometres north-west of Enköping and stands on a small hill with a view over the historic parish of Altuna.
