About the church
Tumba kyrka is a church building in the area of Tuna in Tumba in Botkyrka Municipality and the Diocese of Stockholm. It is the parish church of Botkyrka parish and was consecrated in 1973. The church has about 200 seats. From September 2022 to March 2023 Tumba kyrka was closed for rebuilding. On Palm Sunday (2 April) 2023 the church was reconsecrated. After the rebuilding, the parish office of Botkyrka parish is now located inside Tumba kyrka. In another part of the church, premises for diaconal work, therapy and grief support activities have been created.
