Skå kyrka is our most modern church - built in the 18th century. The church that stood on the site before burned down and some walls were reused. Parts of the large crucifix were saved from the flames.

About the church
Skå kyrka is a church building that belongs to Färingsö parish in the Diocese of Stockholm. The church lies on Färingsö, roughly midway between the surrounding bays of Lake Mälaren. Near the church lies one of the largest ancient burial grounds on Färingsö. Next to the church also lies Tuna gård, which was probably a magnate's estate.
