Lerdals kyrka is a white stone church, and the oldest parts date from the Middle Ages. In its present form the church was built in the 18th century. In the porch there is a row of wrought-iron grave monuments.

Lerdals kyrka is a church building that has belonged since 2022 to Färgelanda-Högsäter parish (2010–2019 Rännelanda-Lerdal parish and formerly Lerdal parish) in the Diocese of Karlstad. It is located in the historic parish of Lerdal in Färgelanda Municipality.
One of the people who built the church was Bengt Andersson.
