Hammenhögs kyrka

Hammenhög had a medieval church that in the 1840s was considered far too small. The cathedral architect Brunius proposed an extension to the east, but during the work the walls of the nave lost their support and the vaults collapsed. As a result an entirely new church was built, completed in 1849.
