About the church
Häggeby kyrka is a church building in Häggeby in the Diocese of Uppsala. It is the parish church of Häggeby parish. At the church there is a churchyard surrounded by a churchyard wall with entrances on the south and west sides. In former times the churchyard wall was clad with boards and had three lychgates, one to the south, one to the west and one to the north. In the churchyard near the porch and the tower stands a copy of a picture stone known as the Häggebystenen. The original was sold in 1873 to the Swedish History Museum and in 1953 the copy was set up in the churchyard.
