About the church
Brännkyrka kyrka is a church building in the district of Örby slott in southern Stockholm. It is one of two parish churches in Brännkyrka parish in the Diocese of Stockholm; the other is the modern Vårfrukyrkan in Fruängen. The church dates from the 12th century but has burned down and been renovated several times.
The composer Lars Egebjer was for many years organist at Brännkyrka kyrka.
