About the church
Årsta kyrka is a church building in Årsta in Stockholm Municipality. It belongs to Enskede-Årsta parish in the Diocese of Stockholm, was designed by Johan Celsing and was consecrated in August 2011 by Bishop Eva Brunne. The building was nominated for Årets Stockholmsbyggnad (Stockholm Building of the Year) 2012 and for the Kasper Salin Prize 2012. In 2013 it was awarded the Helgopriset (Helgo Prize).
