Bara kyrka

Bara kyrka stands on a high hill in what was then the village. It was built in the late 12th century and dedicated to the Virgin Mary. It has been rebuilt and extended, and in the early 19th century the earlier tower spire was replaced by the present tiled roof. The oldest object is the baptismal font, which has a history of its own.
