Viby kyrka

The present church was built in the 1770s. The chancel is dominated by the altarpiece by Pehr Hörberg. Baptismal font from 1659, by Michael Hacke. The longcase clock from the 18th century by Pehr Larsson is a reminder that the district was a centre of folk clockmaking.

About the church

Viby kyrka is a church building in Viby in the Diocese of Linköping. It is the parish church of Vifolka parish. The medieval tower can be seen from the E4 just east of Mantorp. The church is reached from the old national road between Mantorp and Linköping.
