Västerledskyrkan in Äppelviken is open daily 11.00-15.00. In summer 2026 the church is closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. This applies for the period from Monday 15 June to Sunday 16 August inclusive. The church is also closed on 20 June (Midsummer Day).

About the church
Västerledskyrkan is the parish church of Västerled parish in Bromma in the Diocese of Stockholm. Västerledskyrkan lies in Äppelviken, on one of the highest points of Äppelviken. The surrounding buildings consist mainly of villas built in the 1920s and 1930s. The through road Västerled, which runs just below the church, is partly lined with smaller apartment buildings from the same period. The foundation stone of Västerledskyrkan, which is situated on Västerledshöjden, was laid in November 1931. As early as December of the following year, 1932, the church could be consecrated.
