Tidaholms kyrka

Tidaholm's present church was consecrated in 1841. However, a church has existed in the area since the Middle Ages. The first church was situated on the northern bank of the river Tidan, about 150 m from the present church. The old church was demolished in 1840. The site is marked by a cross that has been erected there.
