About the church
Sunnersta kyrka is a church building in Uppsala in the Diocese of Uppsala. It is located in the district of Sunnersta within Gottsunda parish. Until 1974 the church belonged to Helga Trefaldighet parish. The church temporarily served as a parish church before the consecration of Gottsunda kyrka in 1980. It is centrally placed on the grounds of the former holding Kråklund, along Dag Hammarskjölds väg, the old national road, the old exit route from the city of Uppsala towards Stockholm. The area belongs to the old Ulleråker hundred of Uppsala County.
