The oldest wall sections have their origin in the Middle Ages, around the 13th century. The special altarpiece was made in 1812 by the prolific church painter Pehr Hörberg and depicts "The Washing of the Feet". The church is loved for its bright interior with the crowning inscription above the altarpiece: Gloria in excelsis Deo, Glory to God in the highest!
