About the church
Sankt Petri kyrka is a church building in Slagsta in Eskilstuna, S:t Johannes parish, designed by Lars-Olof Thorstensson. The church was consecrated on 15 September 1974, which makes it the parish's second oldest. The site was previously occupied by the property Tallklippan, which was used for, among other things, scout activities.
The communion silver from 1964 is signed by Birger Haglund. The church's other silver, consisting of processional and altar crucifixes, a baptismal bowl, a baptismal candlestick, altar candlesticks and vases, was made by the silversmith Bengt Liljedahl.
