About the church
Sankt Olovs kyrka is the town church of Skellefteå. It is one of the four churches in Skellefteå Sankt Olov parish in the Diocese of Luleå. The church was designed by Gustav Adolf Falk and Knut Nordenskjöld, and was consecrated on 9 October 1927 by Bishop Olof Bergqvist. The construction cost about 600,000 kronor.
