Sankt Laurentii kyrka

S:t Laurentii parish is mentioned in 1253, but the large red-brick church is thought to have been built a few decades later. S:t Laurentii kyrka was used as the coronation church for the coronation of King Birger and Queen Märta in 1302 and was the main church of the medieval city of Söderköping. The church was ravaged by fire at the end of the 15th century and acquired its present character during the rebuilding. Today the church has four aisles.
