About the church
Riala kyrka is a church building belonging to Riala parish in the Diocese of Uppsala and is located in Riala in southern Roslagen. The parish name Riala is first mentioned in a medieval charter from 1228. South-west of the church stands a freestanding bell tower with a bell dating from the 16th century. On the south side of the old churchyard there is a medieval lychgate built in bond with the churchyard wall.
