About the church
Revsunds kyrka is located in Revsund parish (historical) in Bräcke Municipality in Jämtland. It is one of the parish churches of Revsund-Sundsjö-Bodsjö parish in Sydöstra Jämtland pastorate within the Diocese of Härnösand. The church was built north of the strait that connects the lakes Anviksjön and Revsundssjön and which gave rise to the name of the parish (historical) and the church, Revsund. There is no village called Revsund. The church stands on land belonging to the farm Prästbordet.
