Resmo kyrka

Resmo kyrka is one of the oldest churches in Sweden still in use. It was built around the year 1100. It has many archaic features and bears witness to important contacts with the southern Baltic Sea and Denmark. Surviving runestones tell of the family whose contacts made the building of the church possible.

About the church
Resmo kyrka is a church building in the historic parish of Resmo and in Resmo-Vickleby parish on Öland. It lies 15 kilometres south of Färjestaden and belongs to the Diocese of Växjö.
