About the church
Öxnehagakyrkan is used by the Church of Sweden and is a church building in Öxnehaga, south-west of Huskvarna in Sweden. It was consecrated on 27 November 1976, which was the Saturday before the first Sunday of Advent.
On the eastern wall of the nave hangs a 5.5 x 7 metre altarpiece made of linen and genuine silk. The tapestry was created by the textile artist Inger Sarin and made from a watercolour painted by the interior architect Gunilla Forsberg. The motif is "A Burning Faith".
