About the church
Olaus Petrikyrkan is a church building in the Norr district of Örebro, beside Storgatan and Harald Forss park. It belongs to the Church of Sweden and lies in the Diocese of Strängnäs. It is named after the medieval reformer Olaus Petri. He therefore stands, together with his brother Laurentius Petri, as a statue outside the church. The sculptor of the statue group Bröderna Petri ("The Petri Brothers") was Nils Sjögren.
