About the church
Ekeby kyrka is a church building in Ekeby in Kumla Municipality. It belongs to Ekeby parish in the Diocese of Strängnäs. On a ridge north of the church there is an Iron Age burial ground. The ridge is cut through by the old highway towards Örebro. On the west side of the church two important roads used to meet: the old road from Kumla and the old highway from Örebro. The function of the roads has today been partly taken over by national road 51 and national road 52. The older roads still exist, with less traffic.
