Jämshögs kyrka

In 1803 the then church in Jämshög burnt down. It was replaced by a new church to designs by Olof Tempelman. The altarpiece and the decoration on the east wall of the chancel were made by Carl Strömberg. The church contains a unique so-called Gudmorshus (godmother's room), a room for women that was used at churchings and baptisms of infants.
