Holmsunds kyrka was built in 1863 by Dickson & Co in connection with their sawmill in Holmsund. It was a mill church until 1918, when Holmsund formed its own parish. In 1986 an extension with a kitchen and meeting rooms was added. Since then the church has been used by many different activities every day of the week.

Holmsunds kyrka is a church building in Holmsund. It belongs to Holmsund parish in the Diocese of Luleå. The church was built as a mill church in 1863 to designs by the curate Johan Anders Linder for James Dickson & Co, in connection with their sawmill. The church is located on Västerbacken, which is a well-preserved workers' housing area from the mid-19th century and which was originally the loading site of the Baggböle sawmill. The church was handed over as a gift to the parish in 1917.
