Gistads kyrka

The Romanesque 12th-century church gave way to a spacious neoclassical church in 1864. The old altarpiece is now placed on the wall, and in the chancel stands a plain golden cross against a blue background, which was the new aesthetic ideal of the period. The baptismal font from the 13th century can be admired at length.
