About the church
Frillestads kyrka is a church building in Kropp parish in the Diocese of Lund.
The church was originally built of sandstone in the later part of the 12th century.
It was, however, replaced in 1877 by an entirely new church with a three-sided chancel, apart from the lower part of the tower, which was kept from the old church. The new church was designed by Johan Fredrik Åbom.
In the tower vault, wall paintings from the 15th century are preserved.
