Fjärestads kyrka

The present church was built in the mid-19th century around the outside of the medieval church, which was then demolished stone by stone and carried out. As a result, one can see the relief of a lion at the very top of the church's north-eastern outer wall, which was rediscovered as late as 1999. The present church was consecrated in 1863.
