About the church
Ekeby kyrka is a church building in Ekeby in Östhammar Municipality in Uppland. It belongs to Ekeby parish in the Diocese of Uppsala. The oldest part of the church, the sacristy, may date from the 13th century and was then part of a simpler wooden church on the site. Between about 1440 and 1470 the wooden church was replaced by the present building.
