Ekeby kyrka

Ekeby kyrka was consecrated in 1863. The tower is preserved from the medieval church. The first thing that meets you is the fine altarpiece showing the outstretched hands of Jesus – a copy of Carl Bloch's famous painting ”Christus consolator”. The preserved crypt is connected to the Gedsholm estate, which held the right of patronage over the church.
