Church in Gärsnäs parish. The church stands in the middle of the little village beside a three-way junction, and the rest of the buildings consist of a few farms and villas along the approach roads. The village takes its name from a large burial mound south of the churchyard (ancient monument Östra Tommarp 9:1).
