The church was consecrated on 27 August 1865. From the old church there are remains of hewn sandstones from portals and pillars. The walls of the new church include a lot of stone from the old church. The sandstone baptismal font, from the 12th or 13th century, comes with a brass baptismal dish from the latter half of the 16th century. Seats 350 people.
