Billdals kyrka

Billdals kyrka was completed in 1992. Like a Falu-red sea mark, it raises its tall tower beside Billdalsviken. Magnus Wångblad, architect at Arkitekttriangeln in Trollhättan, was responsible for both the interior and the exterior. He drew inspiration from the buildings along the Säröbanan railway, so the church has National Romantic features - tall stone plinths, tarred or Falu-red wooden facades, steep tiled roofs and glazed verandas.
