About the church
Almby kyrka is a church building near Tybble centre in Örebro. It is the parish church of Almby parish in the Diocese of Strängnäs. Almby parish is first mentioned in 1314 as an independent pastorate, but there is evidence that the parish existed long before that, including a preserved base of a baptismal font from the 12th century, which shows that Almby kyrka already had baptismal rights at that time.
