About the church
Ala kyrka is a church building in the historical parish of Ala in the Diocese of Visby. It lies in an open agricultural landscape by County Road 143 from Ljugarn, one kilometre south of the junction with County Road 146 to Kräklingbo, and is the parish church of Östergarn parish. The church was founded in the 12th century.
