Vittangi kyrka

The wooden church was built in 1846-1849 under the direction of master builder Johan Nilsson Rautio and to designs by the architect Theodor Edberg at the Office of the Superintendent (Överintendentsämbetet), later the Royal Board of Public Building (Kungliga Byggnadsstyrelsen). The church was not consecrated until 5 March 1854, by the provost Lars-Levi Læstadius.
