Vinköls kyrka

Vinköls kyrka was built in a stately English cathedral style in the 1870s. It is cruciform, with low walls and a high roof. Five lancet windows in the chancel give the church a Gothic feel. The church has a remarkably shaped baptismal font.

About the church
Vinköls kyrka is a church building that has belonged since 2006 to Ardala parish (formerly Vinköl parish) in the Diocese of Skara. It is located in the church village of Vinköl in the western part of Skara Municipality.
About 600 metres south-west of the present church there was previously a medieval church, which was demolished when the new one was built.
