Vårdsbergs kyrka

Vårdsbergs kyrka is a very popular church for weddings and baptisms and one of the few round churches still in use. The name means "vårdberg" or "vaktberg" (beacon hill or watch hill). This place was already fortified in prehistoric times. Thanks to its elevated position, the warning beacon could be seen far across the plain in times of unrest.
