Vaksala kyrka

Vaksala kyrka was built in the 12th century, before Uppsala became an archbishopric in 1164. The oldest wall paintings date from the first half of the 14th century. Vaksala kyrkcentrum is the parish's combined parish hall and administrative centre. It also has pleasant function rooms for baptism or funeral coffee and an activity room.

Vaksala kyrka is a church building in Uppsala in the Diocese of Uppsala. The church is the parish church of Vaksala parish. The church tower is 76 metres high and can be seen from the E4 motorway in Uppsala. Just west of the church there is a brick church storehouse (kyrkbod) from the end of the 15th century. North-west of the church lies a vicarage from the 18th century.
