Tveta kyrka

Tveta kyrka was built of wood in the 1670s and probably replaced a church of medieval origin. From the medieval church, among other things, a baptismal font from the middle of the 13th century and a rood cross from the 14th century have been preserved.

Tveta kyrka is a church building belonging to Tveta parish in the Diocese of Karlstad. The church is in the historic parish of Tveta, a few kilometres west of Säffle in Värmland. The surrounding churchyard has its oldest parts south of the church. The churchyard was extended to the north in 1940 and 1983.
