Tvärreds kyrka

One of the very largest churches in the pastorate stands in Tvärred and was built in 1854 after the older church, a few kilometres from the site, was to be abandoned. The architect was Ludwig Hawerman of the Överintendentsämbetet (the Office of the Superintendent).

Tvärreds kyrka is a church building in the southern part of Ulricehamn Municipality. Since 2006 it has belonged to Åsunden parish (formerly Tvärred parish) in the Diocese of Skara (before 2010 the Diocese of Gothenburg).
