Trosa landskyrka

In the Middle Ages the town of Trosa lay just south of the church along the river, but with the land uplift the people of Trosa, who after all lived from fishing, moved their town closer to the sea, and in the 16th century the town was reduced to the village of Trosa. In the old town of Trosa there is said to have been a wooden church, whose foundation remained for quite a long time. It has now been ploughed away and no traces remain.
