As early as 1860, construction began on our beautiful church by the Trollhättefallen falls. Trollhättans kyrka was completed in 1862 and the first parish priest was Magnus Åberg. It is a well-visited church which in the summers also serves as a roadside church. The Göta Älv pilgrim trail passes by the church.
