About the church
Tjärstads kyrka is a church building in the historical parish of Tjärstad in Kinda Municipality. It belongs to Rimforsa parish in the Diocese of Linköping. Before the Åsunden lake system was lowered in the mid-19th century, the church stood beside the shore of the important waterway between Linköping and Gamleby.
