About the church
Tannåkers kyrka is a church building in Tannåker in the Diocese of Växjö. It is the parish church of Tannåker parish. The church stands on a hill on the eastern side of Lake Bolmen in the north-western part of Ljungby Municipality in Kronoberg County. South-west of the church stands the bell tower, which was built in 1798 by the former soldier Måns Hak. The oldest church bell in the belfry was first recast in 1710. In 1751 and 1752 it was recast again. The small bell was bought from Växjö gymnasium in 1815. Tannåker's former school is now the parish hall.
