Svappavaara kyrka

In 1910 the burial chapel was built on the old works cemetery from the 17th century. At the beginning of the 1950s a fundraising campaign was started for the construction of a church in Svappavaara. In the winter of 1957-1958 the church was built, and on 16 November 1958 it was consecrated by Bishop Ivar Hylander.
