About the church
Soutujärvi kyrka is a church building in Skaulo by Lake Soutujärvi, between the villages of Skaulo and Puoltikasvaara. It belongs to Gällivare parish in the Diocese of Luleå.
The church lies next to the roads E10 and E45, which run together. It serves, among others, the villages of Skaulo, Puoltikasvaara, Moskojärvi, Neitisuando and Killinge.
The church was consecrated in 1963. A large part of its furnishings were donated by the local sewing circle.
