The church received its present form at the end of the 18th century. It has a beautiful bell tower with a passage through it. Pulpit and altarpiece by Johan Edler the Elder. Wooden Madonna attributed to Hakon Gulleson. Open Monday to Friday between 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. and in connection with services and concerts. During July also open on Saturdays 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

About the church
Sollefteå kyrka is a church building in Sollefteå. It is the parish church of Sollefteå parish in the Diocese of Härnösand. To enter the churchyard one walks through a bell tower whose lower part serves as a lychgate in the churchyard wall. The bell tower is built of wood and is of the Bothnian type. It was built in 1804 - 1806, painted in 1811 and replaced an earlier bell tower, built in 1695 by Jon Jonsson. Two church bells hang in the bell tower. One bell was recast in 1630 and 1761. The other bell was purchased in 1802 and recast in 1908.
